These are what I think are relatively free on Amazon Prime, PBS, Netflix and the like. Some are well known but others are hidden gems!! I love historical series and anything I can watch while folding laundry and cleaning or just relaxing after the kids are in bed. The Railway Children — Amazon Prime, rated PG-13 (2000) A darling movie about some wealthy children who are displaced after their father is wrongly imprisoned. They end up loving the country and the people in it. Doctor Thorne — 2016 TV-14 A series based on a book, and it reminds me a bit of Pride and Prejudice with issues revolving around class and wealth, and inheritance. Les Miserables —PBS TV-14 (2019) A lovely new rendition of the classic, without the musical songs. Simply a drama. I enjoyed it very much.
